A very special thanks to the Game wardens and Game biologist for sharing their passion for living the outdoors. I hope you found the program informative and enjoyable. As for the RUT things are happening. Last Friday I spent the day in the treestand. I Saw 7 different bucks, it was like someone had turned the light on. The movement was all day long. I saw 3 does as well. I think the bucks had them hiding. Join us this week, we will be talking black powder with Carl Luedke and Brian Edwards from CVA. Make sure you call in with any questions. I have posted as a video from a Predator trailcamera click here. This buck had passed behind me at 18 yards and with a few light grunts he came in . Unfortunately he never gave me a shot. FINALLY, I was able to get out and enjoy the outdoors. I spent about 5 hours in the tree stand this last weekend. Although the weather wasn't all that great ti was nice to get outside. I did see a few deer, but not the numbers that I am used to seeing. There are several nice bucks in the area, one passed by me early Saturday morning. I could not get a clear shot so hopefully he will pass by again. I am also getting many nice pics on the Predator trail cam click here I also have some great video. The bucks seem to be moving early in the day and again toward dusk. Some of the scrapes that were around early have been abandoned. I have set up 3 other sites using wall hanger and have bucks hitting them already. I feel the next week to 10 days should be prime. I have not seen many does in my hunting area, that can be good. Hopefully the bucks have to travel more to find does. My apologies go out to Randy Williams I forgot to have him give us his Taxidermy studio information call 920-982-2771 for more information.
