I think spring is finally here. I made my first trip out to my hunting property in Iola this past Sunday. Once again the infamous beaver clan has taken up residence on one of my ponds. Those little rodents can do some dam-age, no pun intended. I also spent several hours looking for deer sheds no luck there. The deer sign was pretty heavy through my fall food plots. I didn't see much for turkeys but the scratchings were there in the oak stand. With turkey season soon to arrive please make sure you visit Gander Mountain for all your turkey hunting needs. I would be glad to help you get outfitted just ask for me. You can also visit Quaker boy calls CLICK HERE to check out some of the best calls made. Also make sure you stop in Saturday April 10th I will be giving a Turkey hunting presentation from 11:00am -12:00pm. We will also have a few drawings for prizes after the presentation. I will talk about using decoys, calling and setting up on the wary gobblers. You may see a few in store specials as well. Don't forget the Million dollar safe and firearms sale will be ending on April 4th so take advantage of the great deals still available. Always remember to get the kids involved in "Living the Outdoors" you will be a better person for it.
