It's hard to believe the month of November is almost over. What happened to September ?. What a great deer season it has been, taking a nice deer in Missouri, a trip to Iowa and of course deer hunting here in Wisconsin. This year definitely ranks up there in the top 5 as far as deer hunting goes when we talk bowhunting it's #1. It's not about the harvest of an animal as much as soaking up and enjoying the experience as a whole. Spending time with friends, making new friends and sharing stories makes the experience complete. Being able to harvest a deer is a bonus. Sometimes we need to take a step back reflect and appreciate the opportunities we have we have to enjoy the great sport of deer hunting. I still plan to get out a day or 2 and fire up the TC smokepole. Remember to stop using excuses to not get out and enjoy the outdoors instead think of reasons to get out and participate.
